Andrew Gourlay (born 1982) is a British conductor. He is Chief Conductor of the Castile and León Symphony Orchestra (Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León). ==Early life and studies== Gourlay was born in Jamaica in 1982, and was brought up in the Bahamas, the Philippines, Japan, and the United Kingdom. He is of Russian descent: his great grandmother was the princess Elizaveta Galitzine; his great great grandfather, Alexander Dmitrievich Zinoviev, was Governor of Saint Petersburg at the time of the Revolution of 1905.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Zinoviev A.D.
